Dynamic packaging is the ability to offer hotels, flights, rail, car hire, excursions and other supplements as either a distinct package to the customer, or as a package which is created during an interactive process with the customer. Jamber & our development partner Comtec Europe Ltd have developed a dynamic packaging solution called DFE (Dynamic Feed Engine) which is both a technology platform for existing travel feeds and a means of integrating in-house inventory.

Off the shelf third party feed packaging

The Dynamic Feed Engine normalises feeds to enable your customer to build up a package from several different suppliers seamlessly. The criteria for providing prioritised information to the customer is entirely down to your individual travel business needs (i.e. select hotels based on commission rates as opposed to nearness to a particular destination).

Your Dynamic Packaging solution is designed specifically for your individual requirement, the DFE simply provides underlying foundation on top which your requirements are built.

Inventory packaging

Management of your own inventory either to be packaged with third party feeds or to package internal only inventory is part of the DFE offering. Jamber, Comtec Europe and DFE provide the complete turnkey solution enabling you to leverage your own inventory as feeds into other dynamic packaging or web site packages. In effect Jamber, Comtec Europe and DFE allow you to present your travel proposition to the desired channel and market place in a cost effective manner.
